We travelled over 5,000 kilometres and must have visited most of the main sights, including the popular and well-photographed deserted mining town of Kolmanskop and the Deadvlei valley.
During our travels we passed through spectacular scenery. But this tended to be so 'big' that, while impressive to the eye, was difficult to capture effectively in camera largely due to the lack of any foreground interest. Occasionally some wildlife would oblige but this was seldom the case....
